Welcome to the Jones Riverside Airport Association website.
The Jones/Riverside Airport (RVS) is one of the finest airport facilities in the Midwest. This 800+ acre facility is conveniently located in south Tulsa. With nearly 500 aircraft based at RVS, the tower recorded 347,000 aircraft operations (takeoffs/landings) in 2005, which makes RVS ranked #1 in Oklahoma and the 10th busiest in the nation. Riverside Airport offers all weather approaches with both parallel runways. We have over 186 private and commercials hangar lots on the field. We are also fortunate to have multiple full service FBO’s, aircraft maintenance, engine overhaul facilities and six flight training schools.
Our Association mission- “To serve as the primary group to represent and protect the economic and philosophical interests of those Association members and others who have invested in private capital improvements on the Jones/Riverside Airport facility.”
Our organization is made up of pilots, hangar owners and commercial operators who, like me, have considerable passion and interest in RVS.
We encourage you to become a member of JRAA so you can stay connected to the issues involving the airport activities, including hangar ownership and commercial operations. In today’s world, our association may be able to assist you in many of the gray areas that involve hangar standards, the Tulsa Airport Authority sub leases, security or smaller matters such as road repairs.
Being a member is only $25 annually, and we offer through our website, important updates of current issues at the airport including our calendar of area events. Join the JRAA and be an active participant of the great environment we know as Jones Riverside Airport.
